No-Win Production’s WOYZECK, FJF – Review

Woyzeck, FJF, now playing at the New Ohio Theatre, is a reimagining of Georg Büchner’s, unfinished play. Set in a mental institution, Friedrich Johann Franz Woyzeck is attempting to piece together where he is and why he is there while losing his grip on reality.

You On The Moors Now

Theater Reconstruction Ensemble’s YOU ON THE MOORS NOW – Review

You On The Moors Now, which opened February 13 at HERE, is my favorite kind of weird theater. The play is a deconstruction of four of literature’s most famous women, Jane Eyre from Jane Eyre, Jo March from Little Women, Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice, and Catherine Earnshaw from Wuthering Heights. In the process, though, it brings on a full-blown battle of the sexes and breaks down harmful character types for men and women.
